I'm trying to figure out what the pinout for the 3-pin plug on the alternator is, but for the life of me I can't find any info online. If you need a special size that is not listed contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate you.I have completely re-done all the wiring in the challenge car and the last piece is the alternator wiring. We hope to expand the listing of these decals also. You will notice that we also sell the authorized NATO decals on this site. ![]() If the decal you need is not on the list please contact me and together we'll try to make it available for all. Following is a list of available decals so far. To do my part toward the preservation of these fine cars I have been in the process of reproducing many of the decals that are no longer available from Ford. My wife loves the bird also as it brings back memories of driving that bright red Turbo Coupe on our honeymoon. I love these cars as much today as I did back then. These days I have a silver 84 that I bought about ten years ago. The first one to hit the streets of Dayton and the only one I've ever seen that came without AC. ![]() I was thrilled to learn that (thanks to a special rebate program that Ford had going on) I was to pick out a Thunderbird within a certain serial number range. Bill Elliot later proved that to be the case.Ī few weeks later I was due to get a new demo to drive. They brought the new Tbird onto the showroom floor and my first thought was 'look out NASCAR'. I worked at the local Ford dealership in Dayton Ohio as parts manager. I've been a fan of the Aero Bird design since we got our first 83 Thunderbird in the fall of 1982.
